Blessed Samhain

I know. We’re not wicked. But today is the day when we pretend we are something we are not to fool spirits looking for trouble.  We are hiding in plain sight.

Wearing my witchy stuff at work, you know, full on black and pentagrams and stuff. The Ex is wearing his unicorn horn. Potluck in an hour. Tonight we circle with the coven.  I’m looking forward to all of it.  Can hardly stand the suspense.

Went out and fed the little stray cat, peanuts for the jays, seed for the birds, and sunflower seeds for the squirrels.  Peanuts in my pockets, I’m bestowing largesse as I walk.

I awoke this morning feeling darned good. Turned off the alarm clock and just drifted in and out slowly waking. Got up, got dressed in black, put on my heavy amber necklace, my string of hematite, and my skull necklace. I made this years ago, couldn’t believe my luck with the little ceramic skull and the crazy monkey gremlin guys.

Samhain blessings upon you all
May you never hunger, may you never thirst
