The guy who sold me my vacuum was about 28 and was so very happy about his Miele. hahahahaha. In love with his vacuum. Who knew. I purchased a Royal Model RY9750. This thing purrs and sucks like a big beast, not a chirpy mini beast at all.
I also got a new zipper foot for my Pfaff 7570. Yay! A zipper foot!
I bought the buttery carmely linen too. 10 yards of heavy weight, 59″ wide, linen. My couch had the cushions destroyed by my doggie Isis many years back (she died in 2000) and I’ve never wanted to fork out the dough. I want my place to look nice when the French group arrives for Yule and I realized that for $72 I can make a top of the line slip cover that I couldn’t buy for under $300 or more. Cuz it will have separate cushions. And the color will go great with the dark green carpet, the spring green chair and curtains, and the pine (real) wainscotting. Richness but washable.
I want a new mattress and I tell myself that it is worth it to my poor back to have a good mattress but the IBSC says it’s too decadent. Asshats.

I am getting a message from the IBSC of the future (although the transmission is weak because they are so bent over and achy) and it sounds like: “Get a good mattress as soon as you can afford one! OY!”
Really…that wasn’t me. I’d never be that pushy. But when you get a message, you have to pass it on, non?

I was looking the window of the S.C. outlet by my bus stop this morning. Might have to visit this week.
I once had a link to a great little vid with Bush as an asshat. Cracked me up. In the game I play in sometimes, SCA medieval reenactors, some of the folks who wear metal hats are asshats. We don’t all agree on which ones are and which ones aren’t.
Besides asshat is legal. š
