And yet bittersweet.  My brother and his family have been visiting this past week and I’m so sorry that they are leaving tomorrow.  They live on the other side of the planet and I just don’t see enough of them.  This visit has been particularly wonderful since my nephew now speaks more English, I speak a bit more French, and we get along really well.  He’s adorable and an 8 year old boy.  A bundle of energy.  We’re all exhausted but I will miss him terribly.

Mr. Furnace has met my entire family and that went well.  Otherwise we’ve not seen as much of each other as usual but ebb and flow, ebb and flow.

I’m still waiting to find out if I am on the short list for the job I interviewed for almost 2 weeks ago but my brief phone conversation with them yesterday gives me hope that it will happen. I made the short list!  Friday at 3pm!

This has been the most glorious October, er now November, in recent memory, everything you hope autumn will be.  Trick or treating was a blast this year and I look forward to photos.
