I don’t know what it is about these little cuties that appeal to me so much but I think it’s just that they are so dang cute. I found an etsy store that makes them and I was off and running.
I just received the book, Pretty Little Pincushions, and I can’t wait to get the time to drool over these.
Jen of Schmaltzy Craftsy makes the best pincushions ever. I’m hooked. Now, that last thing I need is a zillion pincushions around the house. Most of my friends don’t sew so they aren’t that great for gifts. And I would never dream of trying to compete. But I must have some of these. As soon as payday arrives, this little beauty is mine…

Another fabulous pincushion designer, yes designer, is Elizabeth Hooper of Loosestring. Also with the best pincushions evar…

That little pumpkin is just so cute! Thanks for sharing.x
Why ever would you NOT do these yourself? When I first saw the pictures, I thought for sure that you had branched out into another area and I got all excited. I can only imagine what you would come up with in pincushions. 😀
Hmmm. I don’t know. I guess i thought that there are tons of cute little pincushions out there already. LooseString, for instance, has sold 450 of the little buggers. I guess I go with what I think is unique and my bags are unique. but the pincushions, I was thinking the market is saturated. G’head, do a search on etsy. Holy smokes!
But I suppose maybe. Pentragrams being the obvious.
What I’m really thinking about branching out into are Ornaments. Yule ornaments, Green man, pents, suns, fairy stars, snowflakes and other obvious motifs.
