This week in Cancer

I really do feel that you’re here with me as I create these horoscopes. In a sense, you’re my assistant. Our telepathic connection is utterly palpable and practical. The hopes and questions you project my way stream into my higher mind, coloring my psychic environment and enriching my desire to give you exactly what you need. Now, in accordance with the astrological omens, I’m asking you to give our collaboration more conscious intention. It’s time for you to be aggressive about seeking help and inspiration — not just from me, but from everyone. Try this for starters: Once a day for five minutes, visualize that you and I are sitting face-to-face and discussing the issues that feed your longing to be brave and free and authentic and smart and loving and creative.

aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I can do that.

I had hoped that I would feel fantastic today but I don’t at the moment. The second day of my moon time typically brings a massive headache and today, since it is 10 days early (gotta love perimenopause), it’s a doozy. Luckily I don’t have much to do.

Signature from my bank and the fax has been sent to benefits for my savings stuff. One last meeting  with God’s Rottweiler, who loved hearing what BK said to TVI.  OMG. Said he told me that there was much deep doo.

Got a call from the university bookstore and my software is in. I get a hugely special deal as a University employee. Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Professional, Photoshop all version 3.3 for $300  and the full Word Professional Plus Suite for $75.  A total steal, regular prices total about $1600.  Huge savings.  And good timing.

Just got back from a haircut.  It’s a liitle pfoofy as he used a brush to blow dry it (I had assumed he would use his fingers) but it’s relax. I love the feeling of someone running their fingers and comb and brush through your hair, the little tugs on the scalp.  Soothing. Very primal.  Monkey grooming.

Oooooh, headache is dissipating.  Nothing like a little caffiene to help the meds along.

Leaving early probably, must bring car down and pack up remaining stuff.

Work up this morning without the alarm clock and that is going to feel very good.

But what does any of this have to do with that last sentence of the horoscope? Not much

So, I plan on doing that for five minutes a day.  Not only do I long to do and be those things but I know I already am and do those things.  Now it’s time to take it to the next level.  Power boost!

Ooooh, last night had a most wonderful full moon ritual with my two new women witch friends.  We were a little scattered, we have yet to solifiy some things, but it was really wonderful to do that.  I can’t remember the last time I did full moon.  And outside in a lovely private garden.  Gracious lady and Loving Lord, I think you for all my  blessings.

It definitely felt loving and authentic and creative.

Bright blessings and here’s to fresh starts, healing energy, and magical lives.

So Mote It Be.

  1. “Monkey grooming”? LMAO! Now I’m gonna have that phrase in my head when I get my hair done (because I love the “scalp massage while someone else shampoos and brushes and cuts” feeling, too…).

Time to pack the alarm clock away for a few weeks!!

If I have anything to say about it that alarm is gone for good.

  2. I love the visualization for this post. Interestingly, I was at a queer men’s moon gathering this weekend and part of what we focused on was manifesting dreams and desires. It seems like a lot of people, myself included, are making leaps of faith of some variety.

Perhaps as our world seems increasingly insane, more people will reconnect with their core values and desires, thereby returning our cultures to some sense of balance and deep joy.

Blessed be to that, to you and to all spell work that brings us closer to beauty, balance and delight.
