Gore is Nobel Peace Prize winner
“Along with the U.N. peace panel for helping galvanise international action against global warming before it “moves beyond man’s control.” ”
This is wonderful news indeed. Let’s certainly hope they are right, that now is BEFORE it is beyond our control. We better get seriously busy.

Big happy dance
Monday night at 6:00 pm I felt a cold hit me. Ran to the cupboard and got out the echinacea, goldenseal, and lysine but woke up sick none the less. If I’d been thinking I would have started the dose immediately upon returning home from The Ex’s as he’d been sick 4 days. We thought he wasn’t contagious but. Oh well. I enjoyed every minute of getting sick hanging out with my beloved. We both felt as though the difficult times of the past summer had moved on.
I feel so free these days. Like I’m my old self again. Aside from this nasty cold and sore throat I feel pretty wonderful. Sparkly again.
Samhain altars are up and lovely. Pouches and other handmade donations are ready for Gaia’s Temple fundraiser. Drop them off next Sunday. Working on many things. Who knew. Like many have said recently, fall is a very creative and active time for me. I’ve got a wool vest I’m working on, two pillow tops, some Yule presents for family and friends, and stuff to wear to a feast in December. Kind of nice to have the day home from work sick. I can work on things a bit when I’m not sleeping…
Some new links
Every once in awhile I get to do a little surfing around and I thought it would be nice to let you all know about some new treasures I have found online.
Bountiful Healing – Yuuuuummy blog with gorgeous photos and prose.
Christine Kane – A musician with lots to say about being human
Letter from Hardscrabble Creek – Yeah, okay, another pagan spirituality blog. What can I say? Edit: I guess I can say that this is just another blog I enjoy. The author doesn’t seem to consider it spiritual.
The other day after work, walking to my car, I smelled the smells of autumn. Damp pine needles, crispy air, sun-warmed fallen leaves. I must notice while it’s here.
